Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays of the year. Not only is candy in plentiful supply, but it is also an excuse to convert my tiny front mudroom into a complete Halloween experience. Gone is the overflowing rack of coats and jackets. Good riddance to the pile of mismatched shoes and bookbags. All indications of our day-to-day life are replaced with spooky and spectacular Halloween decorations.
And as you can expect, my Ashton-Drake collectibles take center stage among the spiders and cobwebs. Here are a few of my top picks:
Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Li’l Jack Figure
This fully sculpted 5-inch figure of Li’l Jack is the first issue in The Nightmare Before Christmas collection. He is adorably ghoulish and hand-painted to recreate every de-frightful detail of this beloved character.
PEANUTS It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Doll
Charlie Brown is the first issue in our PEANUTS Halloween doll collection, and he comes with his own fabric ghost costume!
“Serena” Witch Doll
You’ll need more than one witch to start a coven! Lovely Serena wears a gorgeous gown of sparkling spider webs, and comes with her favorite cauldron and broom. At 21 inches tall, she’ll surely send shivers down your spine!
Daisy, Our Li’l Pumpkin Monkey Doll
Daisy is a favorite here at Ashton-Drake Galleries. Daisy arrives in her very own plush pumpkin costume, so she’s all ready to go out trick-or-treating.
Thomas Kinkade “Autumn Lane” Witch Portrait Doll
This beautiful bisque porcelain doll captures the warmth and beauty of the fall season. She wears a stunning, iridescent organza gown and carries a broom featuring a festive arrangement of colorful leaves. And because she’s poseable, I often use her as a focal point in my Halloween display!
