Tidings of Comfort & Joy - Ashton-Drake Holiday 2021

I love celebrating Halloween with my dolls! There are so many creative costume ideas out there, ranging from the five-minute project, to more elaborate undertakings. Here are some ideas to help inspire you.

Quick and Easy Ghost Costume
No time to run to the store? Go with the tried and true. Grab a spare white handkerchief, cut some eye holes in it, and drape it over your collectible doll. While you’re at it, grab a flat sheet and make a matching costume for yourself!

Fairy Wings
Download and cut out our template here. Line the template up on some cardstock, trace the outline, and cut. All that’s left to do is to decorate it with paint, feathers, glitter and more! Use a paperclip to attach the wings to your doll’s clothing. You could use a similar technique to make butterfly wings!

No-Sew Monster Costume
Fashion a monster costume using a child’s wash mitt! Char Polanosky of DollDiaries.com provides great step-by-step instructions on her site.

Kitty Cat Mask
We love these kitty cat masks that Jen Menteer of My Fabuless Life made for her dolls! You can download her template here.
